How can we help you?

At ALTY, we have created effective non-surgical integrated treatment programs for the following conditions:

Back Pain

Back problems are one of the most common physical complaints among adults. Symptoms include: stiffness, aching, sharp localized pain, numbness and on occasion radiating pain to the legs. The causes could include: joint dysfunction, degeneration, disc problems and poor posture to name a few.

Knee Pain

Knee and ankle pain are very common conditions. Common causes are degenerative joint disease, the incorrect biomechanics of the foot, flat feet, incorrect foot wear and high heels causing extra strain on the knee joint and surrounding soft tissues. Being both weight bearing joints the chances of injury are greater.

Scoliosis

Scoliosis is the most common spinal deformity in children. It is a sideways (lateral) curvature of the spine, in which the spinal column curves and twists, causing problems which can also affect the ribs and pelvis and, when severe, even the internal organs.

Hip Pain

Hip pain involves any pain in or around the hip joint. Hip-related pain is not always felt directly over the hip. Instead, you may feel it in the middle of your thigh. Similarly, pain you feel in the hip may reflect a problem in your back, rather than your hip itself. Bursitis and Hip Arthritis are common causes of hip pain. We not only seek to heal, but we empower our patients through education and knowledge, to help them live a life of lasting wellness.

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis causes bones to become weak and brittle - so brittle that a fall or even mild stresses like bending over or coughing can cause a fracture. Hip fractures are one of the more serious consequences of osteoporosis, however other complications can include chronic pain, disability, and diminished quality of life.

Sport Injuries

Injury to muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints often occur during sporting activities. Some injuries can lead to chronic problems. Early treatment and rehabilitation are essential. Sport injuries include: sciatica, tennis & golfers’ elbow, carpal tunnel, sprained ankle, tendonitis, bursitis, meniscus tears, trigger finger, frozen shoulder, and rotator cuff.

Poor Posture

Poor posture results from certain muscles tightening up or shortening while others lengthen and become weak, which often occurs because of one's daily activities. There are different factors that can impact on posture and they include occupation activities and biomechanical factors such as force and repetition. An example of this would be working at a computer all day long.
